BBIRBICIÙ IS A PASSIONATE GROUP OF YOUNG GROUNDBREAKING WINEMAKERS ACTIVE SINCE 2020 IN THE REMOTE ISLAND OF PANTELLERIA (SICILY), OFF THE COAST OF TUNISIA. THEIR MISSION IS TO REDISCOVER AND PRESERVE THE AGRICULTURAL HERITAGE AND ANCIENT WINEMAKING TECHNIQUES THAT ARE DEEPLY ROOTED IN THIS SMALL ISLAND'S TRADITIONS. WITH A STRONG FOCUS ON MANUAL LABOR AND ORGANIC FARMING, THEY GROW ZIBIBBO, CATARRATTO, AND PIGNATELLO USING TRADITIONAL HEAD-TRAINED BUSH VINES. LEVERAGING THE FAVORABLE MICROCLIMATES AND THE FERTILE VOLCANIC SOILS OF THE PLAIN OF BUKKURAM, BBIRBICIÙ PRODUCE WINES THAT NOT ONLY SHOWCASE EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY BUT ALSO SERVE AS A VESSEL FOR TRANSMITTING THE RICH HISTORY OF THEIR ANCIENT LAND.
