LA TORRETTA IS AN ORGANIC WINE PRODUCER LOCATED IN VALLE MARCIANO, A CIRCULAR VALLEY BENEATH GROTTAFERRATA IN THE CASTELLI ROMANI REGION. THEIR VINEYARD, SITUATED ON THE SIDE OF THE LATIUM VOLCANO, BENEFITS FROM SOUTHWEST-FACING EXPOSURE AND THE VOLCANIC SOIL CONTRIBUTES MINERALITY AND A SALTY HINT TO THE WINES. THEY SPECIALIZE IN THREE WHITE WINE VARIETIES, BOLLE DI GROTTA, TORRETTA, AND CASTAGNA, MADE FROM A BLEND OF MALVASIA AND TREBBIANO GRAPES.
